The scent of yuzu and the promise of an exceptional dining experience lingered in the air as Park Hyatt Bangkok once again joined forces with Yuzu Guru Mason Florence and co-curator Dustin Joseph for Yuzu Safari 2023.

Amidst the buzz of excitement, Chef Ferran Tadeo took center stage along with 3 other Spanish chefs to craft a "Catalan meets Kochi" brunch that would transport diners to the picturesque landscapes of Umaji-mura.

In a celebration of culinary excellence, Park Hyatt Bangkok hosted the highly anticipated Yuzu Safari 2023, a multi-chef dining affair that took place from 25-27 November. The highlight of this gastronomic extravaganza was an extraordinary brunch experience on 26 November 2023, that was promised to be an exquisite journey into the world of culinary delights, and it certainly delivered.

Chef Ferran Tadeo, at the helm of the "Catalan meets Kochi" brunch, brought a unique fusion of flavors that bridged the gap between his home in Catalonia and the gastronomic wonders of Kochi, Japan.

Inspired by his recent trip to the picturesque Umaji-mura mountain village, Chef Ferran curated a diverse menu featuring freshly hand-harvested yuzu and other culinary treasures from Kochi. Joining Chef Ferran were other top Spanish chefs based in Bangkok, each contributing their unique flair to the brunch. Chef Pepe from Jim Thompson House, Chef Alvaro of Vaso, and Chef Willy of El Willy's added their expertise to the event, creating a symphony of flavors that delighted the senses.

The menu showcased Kochi's renowned oysters, caviar, lobster, and more, providing diners with a taste of the region's rich culinary heritage. The use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients highlighted Chef Ferran's commitment to creating an authentic and memorable dining experience. The brunch offered guests an unparalleled opportunity to indulge in a culinary journey that transcended borders. The carefully curated menu, combined with the elegant ambiance of Park Hyatt Bangkok, created an atmosphere of sophistication and indulgence.

Guests were treated to a sensory adventure as they savored the intricate combinations of Catalan and Kochi flavors, expertly prepared by the talented chefs.

The event not only showcased the culinary prowess of the chefs involved but also celebrated the cultural exchange that occurs when diverse gastronomic traditions come together. The success of the event underscored Park Hyatt Bangkok's commitment to providing its patrons with unforgettable experiences that go beyond traditional dining.
